November 29 will be a bittersweet date for Arsenal wonderkid Bukayo Saka.
On this exact date last year he made his first-team debut for the Gunners, coming on as a substitute in a 3-0 Europa League win over Vorskla away from home.
Fast forward 12 months and the man who have him his chance has been sacked.
The decision for the north London outfit to part company with Unai Emery was made on Friday morning - less than 24 hours after the 2-1 home loss at the hands of Eintracht Frankfurt.
There's been an outpour of messages for the Spanish tactician with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Alexandre Lacazette, Matteo Guendouzi, Dani Ceballos, Calum Chambers and Emiliano Martinez all saying their goodbyes on social media.
What's for certain is Saka won't forget the impact Emery has had on his career thus far.
"This same day last year you gave me my debut for Arsenal," Saka wrote on Instagram . "And since then you have given me plenty more opportunities and shown a lot of faith in me.
"For this I will always be grateful.
"Thank you and good luck for your future"
Interestingly, Saka featured in Emery's final game as Arsenal head coach.
But he was unable to ensure the Gunners avoided defeat.

UPDATE: Traffic Jam In Lagos As Diesel Tanker Falls On Otedola Bridge

Private and commercial vehicle drivers have been left stranded in heavy gridlock as a diesel tanker fell on Otedola bridge in Lagos State. They have been moving slowly hours upon hours as the emergency responders are carrying out operations on the dark spot in order to avert possible disaster. Many roads in the state such as Maryland, Berger, Ogba, Allen, Ikorodu, and Bariga are all confronted with this road gridlock. It will be recalled that a truck laden with automated gas oil fell on the Otedola bridge five hours ago. Tribune Onine gathered that no casualty was recorded, as all emergency responders were being activated. It added that vehicles were being diverted away from the scene of the accident whose immediate cause has been attributed to the failure of the truck’s brakes. Meanwhile, the commercial branded motorcycles are providing succour to enraged passengers who are in a hurry to get in touch with their children and loved ones at home.
